Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Ashish Shelar to be the Chief Guest of e4m IDMA 2025

Ashish Shelar, Cabinet Minister of Information Technology & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, President of BJP Mumbai, General Secretary - BCCI and Advocate, is the Chief Guest of Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA). The 16th edition of the awards will be held on Thursday in Mumbai.

Known for his dynamic leadership and strong engagement in both public welfare and industry-related initiatives, Shelar’s presence is expected to lend significant prominence to the awards ceremony. He served as a Maharashtra Legislative Assembly member representing Bandra West since 2014. He was elected as Vice President of Mumbai Cricket Association on June 17, 2015.

Shelar graduated from Parle College with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in 1992. He then completed a three-year law degree from G. J. Advani Law College, at the University of Mumbai.

IDMA celebrates excellence, innovation, and creativity, honouring campaigns that stand out for their impressive content, insight and impact. IDMA recognised and celebrated the exceptional work and achievements of brands and agencies across eight prime categories, which were further divided into several sub-categories. The major categories are Web, Mobile and Tablets, Social Media, Search and PPC campaigns, For Small Medium Business, For Start-Ups, Hall of Fame Awards and Special Awards.

This year, the e4m IDMA 2025 jury was chaired by Rohit Jawa, CEO & MD – HUL, President – Unilever South Asia, and Member – Unilever Leadership Executive. The other jury members were eminent figures from the advertising, marketing and media world.
