The much-awaited Pitch Marketing 30under30 Awards is back with its sixth edition this year! The awards recognise 30 young marketers who are making an impact through bold ideas, impactful work and creative thinking. The Jury Chair for the sixth edition of the awards has been announced. Nirupam Sahay, Chief Executive Officer, Hindware, will lead the jury for the prestigious awards, which recognise young marketing professionals who are making a mark in the industry through their work, innovation and leadership.
With extensive experience in the consumer and marketing ecosystem, Sahay will bring his industry perspective to the jury panel as it evaluates this year’s nominations. His leadership is expected to add valuable insights to the selection process and help identify professionals who are pushing the boundaries of marketing and brand building. Joining him as the Co-Jury Chair is Dr. Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of BW Businessworld and exchange4media. The other jury members include industry leaders and business heads who have played key roles in shaping the marketing and advertising landscape.
As the CEO of Hindware, Sahay leads the Sanitaryware, Faucets, Tiles, Kitchen Appliances and Home Appliances businesses. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Hintastica Private Limited, a JV between Hindware Home Innovation Limited and France’s Groupe Atlantic, which sells Water Heaters under the Hindware Atlantic Brand.
Sahay is an experienced global business leader, with a strong track record of driving profitable growth. He has over 30 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Operations and General Management/P&L roles. During his career, has led large Markets and Businesses in blue-chip companies across diverse industries - Bathware & Consumer Appliances (Hindware), Lighting (Philips Lighting/Signify, Surya Roshni), Financial Services (GE Capital), Consumer Durables (Whirlpool, Surya Roshni), Paints (Asian Paints) and Electronic Manufacturing Services (Dixon Technologies). He has also handled B2C and B2B businesses, and grown Market Share and Profitability in both high growth and declining businesses.
The jury meet for the upcoming edition of the Pitch Marketing 30under30 Awards will be held in November. The Pitch Marketing 30under30 awards celebrate the next generation of marketing talent across the industry.
