As Ratnesh Pandey celebrates his birthday today, the occasion also marks an opportunity to recognise a professional journey shaped by brand building, digital transformation, sustainability and a consistent ability to translate complex technologies into compelling narratives.
Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President–Marketing at Schneider Electric India, Pandey has accumulated more than 17 years of experience across brand management, strategic marketing and communications. His elevation to Vice President–Marketing, effective August 1, 2026, placed him at the helm of the company’s marketing agenda, spanning brand strategy, integrated marketing, digital engagement, customer experience and commercial excellence.
Pandey began his career in digital marketing, helping organisations build visibility and generate demand through emerging online platforms. His subsequent tenure at Digitas India gave him exposure to integrated campaigns across financial services, consumer brands and digital engagement. He later joined HCL Infosystems as Brand Manager, where he worked on strengthening the company’s services brand and engaging enterprise decision-makers.
His association with Schneider Electric began in 2014. Over nearly 12 years, he has steadily progressed through leadership roles covering building automation, energy management software, home solutions, consumer and retail marketing, sustainability and strategic projects. This breadth of experience has enabled him to understand both B2B and B2C audiences while connecting marketing initiatives with wider business priorities.
A defining element of Pandey’s career has been his work at the intersection of technology and sustainability. He launched and led Green Yodha, Schneider Electric India’s flagship sustainability programme, and helped extend its message through a partnership with Rajasthan Royals. The initiative demonstrated how purpose-led marketing could bring the conversation around sustainability closer to businesses and consumers.
Another significant chapter was his leadership of the transition from L&T Switchgear to Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation. As Director and Head of Marketing and Communications, he oversaw the brand’s migration and launch across India, the Middle East and Africa. He also drove Lauritz Knudsen’s association with Mumbai Indians as a front-of-jersey partner—taking a traditionally B2B electrical brand onto one of Indian sport’s most visible platforms.
Pandey’s elevation at Schneider Electric represents the culmination of a journey built within the organisation while continually adapting to a changing marketing landscape. His present mandate comes at a crucial moment, as electrification, digitalisation and sustainability reshape businesses and customer expectations across India.
On his birthday, Ratnesh Pandey’s journey offers a portrait of a modern marketing leader—one who combines creativity with commercial thinking, embraces transformation and believes that brands must deliver both relevance and measurable value. As he begins this expanded leadership chapter, the years ahead promise fresh ideas, stronger customer connections and many more milestones.
