Reliance is pitching advertising agencies with research related to brain mapping based on analysis that show streaming ads have a higher engagement rate than Google, news agencies have reported.
According to reports quoting sources, RIL is strategizing to get small advertisers on board to boost its digital ad inventory and increase revenue coming from streaming.
There are also plans to monetise the scorecard space on mobile screens during the streaming of IPL 2025, reports said.
As reported by exchange4media earlier this month, JioStar's Connected TV offerings are at the forefront of their advertising packages. Live spots are priced at Rs 8.5 lakh for a 10-second slot.
PPL sports have been priced at Rs 1.60 lakh per 10-seconds. These are ads where products or brands are organically integrated into the video content instead of being presented as standalone ads.
