A Storyteller with a Marketer’s Instinct
Anunay’s influence extended beyond his lens. With 1.4 million followers on Instagram and 3.8 lakh subscribers on YouTube, he consistently ranked among the top Indian creators. He was featured in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars for three consecutive years — 2022, 2023, and 2024 — for shaping how travel storytelling could meet marketing with meaning.
His last Instagram post, shared from Las Vegas two days before his passing, showed him surrounded by luxury cars with the caption, “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines.” It now reads like a moment frozen in celebration of his craft and curiosity.
Sood’s content often felt like a personal conversation with his audience. His followers didn’t just scroll through his posts; they lingered. His visuals carried calm energy, his voiceovers were thoughtful, and his tone was reflective. He had a way of turning simple journeys into emotional experiences.
Brands admired him for that precision. He made content that performed but never felt forced. His collaborations often blurred the line between travel filmmaking and brand storytelling.
On YouTube, his most recent video, titled “Exploring the Hidden Side of Switzerland | Places Tourists Never Visit”, was uploaded on November 3, reflecting his ongoing passion for discovering unexplored corners of the world.
