NDTV Good Times is bringing back its iconic bridal makeover show, Band Baajaa Bride, for a landmark 10th season. With celebrated couturiers Rimple & Harpreet leading the bridal transformations and Kalyan Jewellers joining as jewellery partner, the new season brings fresh perspectives to the personal stories and wedding dreams that made the show a viewer favourite.
The show’s ninth season featured renowned bridal couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee. For many who grew up watching Band Baajaa Bride, the bridal transformations inspired them to imagine what they might wear at their own weddings.
Season 10 carries that connection forward with eight brides selected from across India. Each will share her love story, her aspirations, and the experiences that have shaped her journey to the wedding day. Through a personalised bridal makeover, the show will help bring her vision to life.
Leading this new chapter are Rimple & Harpreet, the celebrated designers known for their work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, as well as the forthcoming Ramayana. Their couture draws on India’s textile heritage, intricate craftsmanship and regal silhouettes, bringing a richly detailed, maximalist sensibility to bridal dressing.
That cinematic grandeur will find a personal expression in each bride’s transformation. From a cherished reference to a carefully assembled vision board, her ideas will help shape an ensemble that reflects her individuality while carrying the designers’ distinctive signature.
“There is something truly special about being part of a show that has redefined bridal makeovers for generations. What excites us most is the opportunity to celebrate each bride in a way that feels authentic to her, combining craftsmanship, storytelling, and individuality. Through Band Baajaa Bride, we hope to create unforgettable moments of confidence, joy, and transformation, making every bride feel as extraordinary as the occasion she is preparing for,” said Rimple & Harpreet.
Kalyan Jewellers will complete the bridal looks as the season’s jewellery partner. The selected brides will wear jewellery by Kalyan alongside their Rimple & Harpreet ensembles, bringing together two integral elements of the wedding-day transformation.
Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, NDTV, said, “The affection people continue to have for Band Baajaa Bride speaks to the power of television that makes a personal connection. Viewers remember the brides, their stories and the joy of seeing a dream take shape. As the show returns for its 10th season, we want to honour that connection while giving a new generation of brides the chance to share their stories and experience something extraordinary.”
“Band Baajaa Bride brings together the emotional pull of real stories and the aspiration that drives India’s wedding market. Its return creates an opportunity for brands to become part of a bride’s journey, with their craftsmanship and products woven naturally into the experience. With Rimple & Harpreet and Kalyan Jewellers joining this season, we have a compelling foundation for partnerships across fashion, beauty and lifestyle,” said Rahul Shaw, Chief Business Officer, NDTV.
For designers and brands across fashion, beauty and lifestyle, the new season offers opportunities to contribute to the details that complete each bridal look. By following the transformation from inspiration to its final reveal, the format gives craftsmanship and products a meaningful place within each bride’s story.
With eight new journeys and a fresh creative partnership, Band Baajaa Bride returns to celebrate the dreams, choices, and individuality of the women at its heart.
