Lokmat Parliamentary Awards 2017 honours distinguished LS and RS members of India

Lokmat newspaper has taken a step towards honouring best Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members for their achievements by introducing the Lokmat Parliamentary Awards 2017. Lokmat instituted this award involving a panel of eminent jury members to select winners across 8 categories:

Says Chief Guest, M Hamid Ansari Hon’ble Vice President of India, “A parliamentarian first and foremost must believe in democracy and should be a bridge between overarching national interests and local dynamics and interests.
