Kiran Mani, CEO at Jiostar, has joined the Board of the Dept of Management Studies at IIT Madras.
In a social media post, Mani wrote: "Few institutions in India command the respect and aspiration that Indian Institute of Technology Madras does. Over the years, IIT Madras has built a remarkable ecosystem of faculty, students, and industry collaborators who continue to push the boundaries of research, technology, and enterprise.
I look forward to engaging with the faculty and students, and contributing wherever I can to help strengthen the department’s connections with industry while supporting the next generation of leaders emerging from the institution."
At Jiostar, Mani oversees the digital platforms - JioHotstar and Cricinfo - in terms of its consumers, content and revenue.
