  • The Future Finance Office (TFFO) conference, hosted by BW Businessworld, will take place from November 13 to 15, 2026, at The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa, focusing on the evolving role of CFOs in India’s largest companies.
  • The conference theme, "CFO Office 3.0: From Capital Guardian to Growth Orchestrator," reflects the expanded responsibilities of CFOs, including capital allocation, AI deployment, governance, and strategic growth decisions.
  • The agenda includes discussions on the CFO's role in business enabling, margin strategies for 2027, capital strategy, compliance, and talent development, with sessions designed based on feedback from CFO participants.
  • Prominent finance leaders from various industries will speak at the event, with RIICO serving as the presenting partner and several other organizations supporting the conference.

The CFO's job no longer ends at the balance sheet. Today's finance chief is expected to protect margins, allocate capital, deploy AI responsibly, steer governance and help decide where the enterprise grows next. In November, the leaders carrying that expanded mandate will be in one room to work out what comes next.

BW Businessworld, through BW CFO World, will host the third edition of The Future Finance Office (TFFO), an offsite conference for CFOs of India's largest companies, from 13 to 15 November 2026 at The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa. The conference is presented by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited (RIICO), the Government of Rajasthan's industrial development agency, and carries the tagline "Grow with Rajasthan."

The case for the conference is straightforward: the finance function has expanded and evolved more than any other, and it is not settling into predictable tasks. Global trade shifts, evolving compliance requirements and fast-changing consumer preferences keep adding to the CFO's remit, which now spans new areas of the business as well as the original finance responsibilities. TFFO 3, themed "CFO Office 3.0: From Capital Guardian to Growth Orchestrator," is designed around that reality.

A Programme Shaped By CFOs

The first offsite was held in November last year, followed by a second in May this year. Both drew strong feedback from participants, and TFFO has since become a sought-after conference series for finance leaders of large Indian businesses. The content for the third edition has been put together after taking feedback from the CFOs themselves. The format keeps the interactive, peer-led approach of the earlier editions. As Rajesh Prabhu, CFO, DBS Bank India, said of an earlier edition: "This was one of the very few sessions I have attended which was driven entirely by CFOs."

What Will Be Discussed

The agenda opens with CFOs as business enablers and the expanding CFO mandate beyond traditional finance, followed by a session on emerging India and a shifting world order, and the CFO's role in nation-building growth. Sessions on the margin playbook for 2027 and on working capital as a strategic lever look at how finance can build resilient margins and strengthen business performance. Capital strategy, covering allocation, M&A and fundraising, sits alongside a discussion on building an AI-ready finance function and enterprise, from deployment to data governance. The programme also covers tax, compliance and governance in the new regime, and ESG and sustainability as a shift from disclosure requirement to value driver. It closes with sessions on talent, skills and succession for tomorrow's finance team, and on self and career enhancement.

Who Will Be In The Room

Several finance leaders will convene at the conference as speakers. Some of the names include Pinky Mehta, CFO, Aditya Birla Capital; Ankush Jain, CFO, Dabur India; Debashis Nandy, President and Group CFO, Thomas Cook India; Rajesh Prabhu, CFO, DBS Bank; Jaykumar Shah, EVP Finance, Tata Capital; Ashish Kumar Mishra, CFO, Baker Hughes; Ved Goel, Group CFO & CEO (International Business), Dr Lal PathLabs; Subhra Gourisaria, CFO, Tata Projects; Manish Mundra, President and Group CFO, Anand Group India; Mukesh Surana, Global CFO, Granules India; Jogendra Singh, President & Group CFO, Hero Corporate Service; and Linu Nair, Finance Leader, Gas Power Services (South Asia), GE Vernova, among many others.
