Amazon MX Player’s Karan Bedi is ‘Leader of the Year – OTT’ at IAA Leadership Awards 2025

Karan Bedi, Head of Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service, has been awarded the coveted title of ‘Leader of the Year – OTT’ at the 12th edition of the prestigious IAA Leadership Awards. Hosted by the International Advertising Association – India Chapter, the annual awards ceremony was held on August 7, 2025, at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

Instituted in 2013, the IAA Leadership Awards honour outstanding leadership in Business, Marketing, and Corporate Excellence. This year’s jury, comprising leaders from diverse sectors, was chaired by Prabha Narasimhan, MD & CEO of Colgate Palmolive India Ltd. The ‘Leader of the Year – OTT’ award celebrates Amazon MX Player’s visionary leadership and its consistent efforts in redefining digital entertainment for Indian audiences.
