Nowadays, companies are becoming more agile and flowing their wings in this competitive environment of technology. Earlier, companies were a bit reluctant in adopting the cloud computing environment and now they are opting for Hybrid Cloud computing as well where you will be connecting with both Public and Private cloud at the same time, which is splendid. Even I was amazed when I saw some recent survey reports where 10% of enterprises with over 1000 employees are projecting they will spend $10M or more on cloud computing apps and platforms throughout this year. Organizations are using multiple cloud models to meet their business needs including Private 62%, Public 60% and Hybrid 26%. And even by 2018, the typical IT department will have the minority of their apps and platforms on an on-premise system.

The best thing is the orchestration between two platforms like on-premises private cloud and third-party public cloud gives companies the benefit of deploying multiple cloud models by cross isolating them and overcoming the boundaries by the provider. The sense of augmentation, Integration or the Customization with another cloud suite gives the user the advantage of enhancing the capacity or capability of the system which the company wants to build.

“Many businesses are beginning to understand that Hybrid clouds provide the best of both worlds.”

Companies these days are receiving greater flexibility and more data deployment options by letting jobs move between private and public clouds as per need and demand, which is also giving freedom in moving applications from one cloud environment to another which is further driven by the help of Containers.

In a simple way, Containers give an application a platform to move from one computing environment to another reliably.

As per reports and surveys, businesses are consuming the hybrid cloud model for processing big data to retain their sales, business and other data on the private cloud, while pushing analytical queries over the public cloud as the public cloud is more effective to meet the demand spikes. In this day and age, Hybrid cloud can be considered as best option which gives you on-demand access to the much needed IT resources, and the flexibility to move workloads onsite or offsite to meet specific needs.

There are many benefits of adapting hybrid cloud environment: it has more flexibility and scalability to business employing private clouds, but which at times also requires additional on-demand scalability in response to unexpected surges in business workload or at recurring times of peak usage. If organizations are not sure whether to fully rely on either a private or public cloud solution, depending on what type of industry they are in, they can instead choose to use a hybrid cloud deployment. A hybrid cloud is an option for companies that have already adopted private clouds or for those not sure about putting too much data or high numbers of apps into the public cloud.

Change Management is a very important aspect of any business process. And when we talk about coming into new environment, we always have to adapt new technologies and need to come out from our comfort zone. So yes, this environment also comes with certain complexities and changes where we need to work on better connectivity issues, capital expenditures and application program interface incompatibility sometimes. But as well all know every problem comes with a solution, so these are too.

Container is the need of this hour, which fulfills our requirement. They are secluded, portable environments where one can run applications along with all the needed libraries and dependencies. Nowadays, the emerging trend in Hybrid cloud environment is container orchestration engine which offers the facility to enable hybrid cloud orchestration and to manage container execution. Containers running inside a container orchestration engine, such as Kubernetes, runs within a cluster by replicating themselves. Through this, companies can scale the number of containers up or down in accordance to the demand of workloads running on public and private clouds.

Cloud Security measures used by well-known cloud vendors are often better than their clients; the cloud vendors have the resources and the skills to keep it up to date. And, they have dedicated servers to keep data and all information safe. It’s the same as when we are keeping our jewelry and important documents in safes of banks with a trust that they are secure and they are dedicated towards that. Similarly, cloud providers are also dedicated towards keeping your data and information safe and secure they cannot become dictated towards it.

Go for Hybrid and Live on Cloud Nine..!!
