D'Souza shared the remarkable milestones achieved by her platform, which has grown from just 35,000 followers on Instagram to reaching over 100 million views regularly, with peaks of 250 million during major news weeks. Her pride lay in a groundbreaking statistic: 50% of these views come from women consuming hard news.
“In my entire career, I was told women don’t watch news, but we’ve proven that if it’s done right, women will watch it,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of credibility and respect in journalism.
She praised the collective power of women, noting their ability to stand firm, share credit, and build support systems that involve families, teams, and communities. D'Souza expressed her deepest gratitude to her husband and co-founder, Sagar, whose belief in their vision of creating credible journalism was instrumental in their success.
