Tata Consumer Q1FY26 net profit rises 14.7% YoY to Rs 332 cr

Tata Consumer Products Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 331.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 14.7 percent compared to Rs 289.25 crore in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, however, profit declined slightly from Rs 348.72 crore reported in the preceding quarter.

The company's revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 4,778.91 crore, up 9.8 percent from Rs 4,352.07 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Compared to the quarter ended March 2025, revenue rose 3.7 percent from Rs 4,608.22 crore. Including other income of Rs 41.17 crore, total income for the quarter came in at Rs 4,820.08 crore.

Growth during the quarter was primarily driven by the branded business, which contributed Rs 4,270.90 crore to the company’s topline. This segment had recorded Rs 3,861.51 crore in the year-ago quarter, reflecting a growth of 10.6 percent.

Within this category, the India business generated Rs 3,125.70 crore in revenue, an increase of 11 percent compared to Rs 2,815.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The international business contributed Rs 1,145.20 crore, up 9.4 percent from Rs 1,046.39 crore a year earlier.

The non-branded business also registered growth, with revenue rising to Rs 535.76 crore from Rs 500.58 crore in the same period last year. In comparison to the previous quarter, this segment reported an increase from Rs 500.55 crore in March 2025.
