Arijit Sengupta, former Group Head-Global Communications & CSR at Wadhawan Global Capital, has joined National Stock Exchange (NSE) as the Chief Communications Officer. The development has been confirmed to exchange4media by highly placed sources.

In his new role, Sengupta will oversee corporate communications at NSE and will be involved in defining, developing and implementing a comprehensive and integrated communications programme and cohesive strategy directed at image-building objectives.

In his professional journey of over 28 years, Sengupta has worked across Asia, Europe, Middle East and Australia in the field of communication and media advocacy. In the past, he had been associated with companies such as Fidelty International, Ogilvy, L&T Finance, Weber Shandwick, Euromoney Magazine, Times of India and Indian Express.
