Aaj Tak appoints Milind Khandekar as Managing Editor, Tak Channels

Khandekar will be reporting to Kalli Purie the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the India Today Group

As reported first by e4m a few days ago, veteran journalist Milind Khandekar who recently stepped down as Digital Editor, BBC India, has joined Aaj Tak as Managing Editor, Tak Channels. Khandekar will be reporting to Kalli Purie the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the India Today Group. The media house has confirmed this development.

It must be mentioned that Khandekar had announced his decision to move out on Twitter. “Fantastic stint, learnt new skills and unlearned a few too. BBC has grown immensely in India and I was lucky to be part of it. Want to thank all my colleagues and wish them well. I will keep you posted on my next move.”

Khandekar has over 22 years of experience in journalism. He has been associated with several media organisations like ABP, Navbharat Times and Aaj Tak. He is an alumnus of the Times Centre for Media Studies and is also the recipient of the Rajendra Mathur Award.
