There’s real internal evolution ongoing at WPP in India: CVL Srinivas
Srinivas also said that WPP’s media market share is close to 50%
CVL Srinivas, Country Manager, WPP, says the company is seeing an internal evolution in India.
“There is a real internal evolution that’s ongoing at WPP in India in the way that our teams work. Our teams are now better integrated and working in close alignment to our clients. We are reinventing ourselves to respond to structural changes in our market and to capture the new opportunities for growth. Beyond that, we are also excited about the work that we are doing in sustainability and social purpose.”
WPP’s media market share is also close to 50%, Srinivas said.
WPP is looking at having an 8,000-strong employee base in India by the end of 2020, he said.
Regarding honing talent, Srinivas spoke about cultivating an open, optimistic and extraordinary place to work. He spoke about the need to focus on upskilling, mobility, hiring and retention, along with the need for more platforms like WPP Stream.
