Lalitha Jewellery reclaims the number 1 spot; Shopclues enters the list: BARC Week 39

Lalitha Jewellery returned to its top spot while e-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon.in were nowhere to be seen in BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 39 (September 23-29)

Week 39 (September 23–29) of BARC ratings saw Lalitha Jewellery claiming back to its top spot with 18,497 insertions. Interestingly e-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon who were fighting it since September first week are nowhere to be seen this time. Having said that online marketplace Shopclues entered the category at eighth spot with 7721 insertions. 




Vivo V7 Plus, Dove Cream Bathing Bar, Videocon D2H, Pears and Lux Toilet Soap climbed to second, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh spot with 13,515, 8932, 8563, 8271 and 8088 insertions respectively. Ministry of Minority Affairs, Dr Ortho Oil and Capsule and Mahindra TUV 300 entered the list at the third, ninth and tenth spot with 11,442, 7388 and 7171 insertions respectively



Meanwhile, in the Top 10 Advertisers list, Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser (India) retained the top two spots with 146946 and 37509 insertions, respectively. TVS Motor Company and Patanjali Ayurved entered the list at the third and seventh spot with 29258 and 19,737 insertions respectively

Cadburys India retained its fourth spot with 26,792 insertions. Brooke Bond Lipton and Godrej Consumer Products climbed to fifth and eighth spot with 25,318 and 18,629 insertions respectively. Procter & Gamble, Lalitha Jewellery and ITC Ltd slipped to sixth, ninth and tenth spot with 24,148, 18,497 and 15,943 insertions respectively.
