The win comes on the back of a multi-agency pitch that took place in January in Delhi. Lodestar UM is the incumbent agency on the account

Mediacom wins media mandate for Tata Docomo

Highly placed industry sources indicate that Mediacom has won the media mandate for Tata Docomo. As reported exclusively by exchange4media earlier, Tata Docomo was on the lookout for a media agency  [Tata Docomo on the lookout for media partner]. The multi-agency pitch took place in January in Delhi. Lodestar UM is the incumbent agency on the account.

It may be recalled that Contact Advertising recently bagged the creative duties for the account. FCB Ulka Advertising was the incumbent.

Tata Docomo is part of the Tata Group and is estimated to be the sixth largest operator in terms of subscribers. Tata Teleservices and NTT Docomo came together in a joint venture in 2008 forming Tata Docomo.

Tata Docomo also launched ‘Don’t leave speed to luck’, a two-part TVC series, last year.
