Quick service restaurant chain Wow! Momo has appointed Sylvia Dutta as Lead – Corporate Communications & PR, marking a significant leadership addition as the brand continues its rapid expansion across India.

Dutta joins the company after a long stint of nearly 15 years with Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, where she most recently served as Lead, Corporate Communications. Over the years, she played a key role in shaping the communications narrative for one of India’s largest food service companies.

Announcing her move on LinkedIn, Dutta reflected on her journey and the transition ahead. “For close to 15 years, I told the story of dough, cheese, and the promise of delivery in 30 minutes or less. Now, I’m turning to a new chapter, and this one starts with a momo. But only starts there,” she wrote.

She further expressed enthusiasm about joining Wow! Momo, highlighting its growth trajectory from a single kiosk in 2008 to becoming one of India’s fastest-growing homegrown QSR chains. The company today operates over 800 stores across 80+ cities and has expanded its portfolio to include brands such as Wow! Momo, Wow! China, Wow! Chicken, and Wow! Kulfi. “Excited for what’s ahead,” she added.

Dutta brings over 16 years of experience across corporate communications, public relations, and brand management. Her career journey spans from being a news anchor with Northeast TV to leading communications at a large listed enterprise, equipping her with a strong blend of editorial and corporate storytelling expertise.
