  • He shared his decision via a LinkedIn post, reflecting on significant accomplishments during his tenure.
  • Kim's responsibilities included overseeing Samsung's Global Services Business and Partnerships within the Visual Display Business, as well as managing sales, partnerships, and product development for various Samsung platforms.
  • Before joining Samsung, Kim held leadership roles at Google, Oracle, WebEx, and several startups in Silicon Valley and New York.

Yong Su Kim, EVP and Global Head of Video Services & Partnerships at Samsung Electronics, has decided to move on. He held the role for over 2 years. Kim shared the news of his departure through a LinkedIn post.

“After two incredible years, I have decided to leave Samsung at the end of the year. Reflecting back on the past two years, it really feels more like five years given the many significant accomplishments across our global team”, the LinkedIn post read.

In his role, Yong Su Kim led a global team in charge of Samsung's Global Services Business and Partnerships within the Visual Display Business. He was also responsible for sales, partnerships, and product development for Samsung TV Platform, Samsung TV+, Samsung Ads, Gaming Hub, Art Store, and Tizen OS Licensing business.

Prior to Samsung, Kim led Google's Mid-Market and SMB advertising sales team for North and South America, which was one of the largest growth businesses across all of Alphabet.

Yong Su Kim began his career at Oracle and has held senior leadership positions at WebEx and startups in Silicon Valley and New York.
