Jyoti Samajpati, who was with Unilever for over 17 years, has been appointed as Executive Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank, her LinkedIn update stated.
Prior to joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, Samajpati was with Unilever for over 17 years and held several leadership roles at the company. She last held the role of Senior Global Brand Director- Closeup at Unilever.
During her career, Samajpati worked across foods, skin and personal care portfolio of the company.
She started her corporate career with advertising agency Lowe Lintas in 2004 as a Planning Manager and later moved to Marico as a Brand Manager. In April 2007, she joined Hindustan Unilever as a Brand Manager for the tea portfolio and went on to manage the hair care portfolio of Sunsilk and other special projects in hair care, before moving towards the skin care.
