Ankur Shrivastava has announced via LinkedIn that he has taken on the role of Associate Vice President at Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI). He previously served as Director, LCS, at JioStar.
In his new role, Shrivastava will be responsible for planning, delivering, and optimising revenue for the South region across Hindi GEC. He will drive advertising sales by building a strong pipeline, closing large deals, and maximising monetisation opportunities with clients, agencies, and partners. He will also develop and execute regional business plans aligned with the national strategy, including targets, go-to-market plans, pricing, and inventory.
Additionally, he will build and strengthen senior-level relationships with media agencies, key advertisers, and strategic accounts, positioning Sony as a preferred network in the market.
Shrivastava has over 13 years of experience in business development and strategic partnerships within the media sector. Previously, he worked with Viacom18 Media Private Limited for nearly seven years, most recently as Director. He has also held roles at Star TV Network, Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd (92.7 BIG FM), and UBM India Pvt Ltd.
