Sanofi India, in a regulatory filing, said Rachid Ayari will step down as Whole-time Director, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with effect from the close of business on 30 September 2026.
The company said Ayari informed the board of his decision through a letter dated 22 July. He is leaving the role to take up another position within the Sanofi Group.
Rachid joined Sanofi in 2017 as the CFO in Algeria before moving to the same position in Russia and the Central Asia region (EURASIA). He was appointed as the CFO for Sanofi India in December 2023.
Prior to joining Sanofi, Rachid used to work in Pfizer as Finance Director in the North African region.
The company is in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the position of CFO, who will also be designated as a KMP.
