- The transition will take effect on July 1, 2026, following board approval and recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee.
- Rajiv Vimal will begin full-time on June 23, 2026, to ensure a smooth handover.
- Vimal brings over 20 years of finance leadership experience, previously serving as CFO at PPG Asian Paints and holding senior finance roles at Vodafone.
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited has announced a change in its finance leadership, with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Vimal Agarwal set to step down at the end of June 2026 and Rajiv Vimal named as his successor.
In a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited, the company said Agarwal will cease to be CFO and Key Managerial Personnel with effect from the close of business on 30 June 2026.
Taking over the role from 1 July 2026 will be Rajiv Vimal, whose appointment has been approved by the Board following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. The company said Vimal will join full-time on 23 June for a smooth handover.
Vimal brings more than two decades of experience in finance leadership across manufacturing and services sectors. He is currently serving as CFO at PPG Asian Paints Private Limited, a joint venture between PPG Industries and Asian Paints. In that role, he has overseen financial strategy, capital allocation, compliance, and governance functions.
Prior to this, Vimal spent over 13 years with Vodafone, where he held several senior finance positions, including Head of Finance for the MPCG Circle.
