PUMA appoints Mark Langer as Chief Financial Officer

  • PUMA SE has appointed Mark Langer as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Management Board, effective May 1, 2026, succeeding Markus Neubrand.
  • Langer will oversee finance, tax, legal, investor relations, and internal audit functions, bringing over 25 years of international leadership experience from companies like Douglas AG and HUGO BOSS AG.
  • Neubrand will step down as CFO on April 30, 2026, and leave the company on September 30, 2026, after contributing to PUMA's strategic transformation and securing financing.
  • PUMA's Management Board will include CEO Arthur Hoeld, CFO Mark Langer, and other executives, aiming to enhance financial performance and investor confidence.

PUMA SE said its Supervisory Board has appointed Mark Langer as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Management Board from 1 May 2026. He will be responsible for finance, tax, legal, investor relations and internal audit.

Mark succeeds Markus Neubrand. The company and Neubrand have agreed that he will step down as CFO on 30 April 2026 and depart on 30 September 2026.

Langer brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience across finance, strategy and general management. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Management Board at Douglas AG. Prior to this, he spent over 17 years at HUGO BOSS AG, serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2020 and as Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2017. He began his career at McKinsey & Company and Procter & Gamble.

From 1 May 2026, PUMA’s Management Board will consist of Arthur Hoeld (CEO), Mark Langer (CFO), Maria Valdes (Chief Brand Officer), Matthias Baeumer (Chief Commercial Officer) and Andreas Hubert (Chief Operating Officer).
