Priya Dogra has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Channel 4.

The company announced her appointment on LinkedIn, welcoming Dogra to the role and expressing confidence in her leadership as Channel 4 moves into its next stage of growth.

Dogra joins Channel 4 from Sky, where she was serving as Chief Advertising, Group Data & New Revenue Officer.

She takes over from Jonathan Allan, who is stepping down after a long association with Channel 4. Allan joined the broadcaster in 2011 and went on to hold several senior positions, including Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in the media industry, Dogra has worked across the US, EMEA and UK markets. Her professional experience covers a wide range of areas, including operations, programming, production, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business development.
