Mihir Sanghvi joins ANJ Group as Chief Commercial Officer

Mihir Sanghvi, who exit Sony Pictures Networks India in January this year after spending nearly 10 years at the company, has joined ANJ Group as the Chief Commercial Officer.

Announcing the same on his LinkedIn account, Sanghvi said, “After spending over two decades with multinational organizations, I’ve made what is, in many ways, a massive pivot in my career. I’m excited to share that I’ve joined ANJ Group as Chief Commercial Officer.”

“This transition is more than just a role change — it’s a shift in mindset. From largely operating within well-established global frameworks, I now find myself in an environment where the opportunity is to build, shape, and create. Moving from running parts of organizations to helping build one ground-up is both energizing and deeply fulfilling,” he said.

Sanghvi said that at ANJ, his mandate spans across pricing strategy, supply chain, commercial insights, and business transformation, with a sharp focus on driving sustainable profitability.

“It’s a wide canvas, and one that comes with both responsibility and excitement in equal measure. What makes this journey even more special is the entrepreneurial energy that runs through the organization. It brings with it the opportunity to think differently, act faster, and create impact more directly — something I’m truly looking forward to. In many ways, this feels like embarking on an entrepreneurial journey within a dynamic and growing setup,” he wrote.

Sanghvi had joined SPNI in 2015 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial, Procurement and Sustainability. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing commercial strategy, procurement functions and sustainability initiatives across the network’s television and digital businesses.

Prior to joining Sony, Sanghvi worked at Johnson and Johnson India for over five years. During his tenure there, he held senior leadership roles including senior vice president and head of commercial, as well as associate director and country lead for procurement, handling commercial operations and sourcing functions.

Earlier in his career, Sanghvi was associated with American Express, where he worked as a client general manager, and with FedEx in a territory management role.

Sanghvi has completed an executive programme in business management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and holds a postgraduate diploma in sales and marketing management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
