Lenovo has appointed Sumir Bhatia as its first Chief Commercial Officer for the Asia Pacific region, according to media reports. Bhatia is a Lenovo veteran and most recently led the Infrastructure Solutions Group in Asia Pacific.
In this capacity, Bhatia will lead a unified commercial structure spanning enterprise sales, solutions, channels and strategic alliances, stated the reports.
Bhatia’s mandate will cover the Asia Pacific region, consisting of markets such as Australia, Hong Kong SAR China, India, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
Bhatia will continue reporting to Amar Babu, President, Asia Pacific.
