Karan Amin has announced about his exit from IDFC First Bank, where he served as Head of Creative & Content for nearly three years.

In a post shared on LinkedIn, Amin wrote: “Two and a half years later (that’s more time than I’ve spent in most ad agencies I’ve worked at), and today being my last day, I’m extremely grateful and thankful to him for giving me this life-changing opportunity and experience of working at one of India’s leading banks.” He also mentioned, “During my time at IDFC FIRST Bank, I’ve learned a lot — understanding how banking and financial products work, gaining valuable experience in sports marketing, podcasts, branding, performance marketing, and learning how to create great-looking content even on a shoestring budget when cost-saving is a priority.”

Amin, a seasoned creative leader in the marketing and advertising industry, has not yet disclosed his next move. His areas of expertise include in digital strategy, social media, integrated marketing, creative direction, advertising and content development.

Prior to IDFC First Bank, Amin held leadership roles at MediaMonks as Creative Head – India, Cheil India as Head of Digital Creative, J. Walter Thompson Worldwide as AVP and Senior Creative Director – Head of Digital, among others.
