Kapil Arora named CEO of Ogilvy Indonesia after Sieg Penaverde steps down

Kapil Arora has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ogilvy Indonesia, with the appointment effective 1 January 2026. He will succeed Sieg Penaverde, who is stepping down after six years in the role to pursue a new opportunity.
Arora brings 24 years of experience with Ogilvy, having worked across five offices. His previous leadership positions include heading the Vodafone business in India, leading Ogilvy Delhi, and managing 82.5 Communications. Since 2024, he has served as Chief Operating Officer in Indonesia, working closely with Penaverde.
In his current role, Arora has managed major client relationships, including Nestlé, Azko, SMBC, Kimberly-Clark and Mastercard. He has also focused on strengthening Indonesia-first partnerships and enhancing the agency’s capabilities in content, social media, and PR & influence.
