Duroflex Limited has announced a major leadership change, appointing Jacob George as its new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He takes over from Mathew Chandy, who is stepping down after leading the company for around 10 years.

Chandy will continue to be associated with the company as a Whole-time Director. The decision, approved by the board, is aimed at strengthening leadership as Duroflex prepares for its next phase of growth.

George has been with Duroflex for over a decade and has played an important role in the company’s expansion. He has helped grow its presence in western India, scale its manufacturing operations in central India, and lead its digital transformation efforts. He has also been involved in building partnerships, including collaborations with IPL teams.

Sridhar Balakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer of Duroflex Group, said that George’s appointment reflects the company’s focus on fresh leadership and growth.
