Godrej Properties appoints Amitesh Shah as Zonal CEO– MMR

Priyansh Kapoor, Zonal Chief Executive Officer – MMR, has tendered his resignation. He will be replaced by Amitesh Shah, stated the company's regulatory filing.

Vikas Singhal, Chief Operating Officer has also tendered his resignation, effective from the closure of business hours of July 31, 2025. Sandeep Navlakhe will replace him, with effect from August 01, 2025.

Amitesh Shah is a seasoned business leader with over two decades of diverse experience across real estate, financial services, and technology. Prior to this role, he was the Region Head for MMR 1, where he led the team to deliver an outstanding booking value of over INR 5,100 crore— contributing 65% to the FY25 booking value for the Mumbai Zone.

Amitesh joined Godrej Properties in 2011 as General Manager – Business Development and was subsequently elevated to Region Head – MZ1. In this leadership role, he was instrumental in expanding GPL’s presence across key micro-markets and driving sustained business growth in MMR 1 region.

Before his tenure at GPL, Amitesh headed Business Development for the Unitech–Omkar joint venture and earlier worked as Area Sales Manager at ICICI Prudential. He began his professional journey as a Senior Management Trainee at HCL Technologies. Amitesh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Post Graduate.
