Mphasis names Girish Srikrishna Paranjpe as new Chairperson

  • Mphasis has appointed Girish Srikrishna Paranjpe as the new Chairperson of its Board, effective January 7, 2026, succeeding Jan Kathleen Hier.
  • Paranjpe has been an Independent Director at Mphasis since October 2024 and is also a member of the company's Investment Committee.
  • He holds additional directorships at Axis Bank Limited, CRISIL Limited, Axis Max Life Insurance Company Limited, Modenik Lifestyle Private Limited, and IBS Plc.

Mphasis has announced the appointment of Girish Srikrishna Paranjpe as the new Chairperson of its Board, effective January 7, 2026.
 
Paranjpe, who has been associated with the company as an Independent Director since October 2024, takes over the role from Jan Kathleen Hier following the completion of her tenure as Chairperson and Independent Director on December 10, 2025.
 
In addition to chairing the Board, Paranjpe is a member of Mphasis’ Investment Committee. Beyond Mphasis, he currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Axis Bank Limited, CRISIL Limited, Axis Max Life Insurance Company Limited, and Modenik Lifestyle Private Limited. He also holds a directorship at IBS Plc.
