Droga5, part of Accenture Song, has appointed Rafael Rizuto as Chief Creative Officer for New York and the Americas.

In this role, Rizuto will lead the creative direction from the agency’s New York headquarters while also overseeing work across the Americas. He will focus on bringing teams together across the region to deliver strong, agile creative solutions for global clients, while making the most of Accenture Song’s wider capabilities.

He will be based in New York and is set to take on the position in January 2026. The agency chose him for his ability to create culturally relevant work and connect with audiences through fresh and innovative ideas. His appointment further strengthens Droga5’s leadership team.

Originally from Brazil, Rizuto has over 20 years of experience and has worked with agencies across different markets. Most recently, he was the North America Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy. Earlier, he worked with the agency in Brazil and Dubai, and has also held senior creative roles at Dentsu Creative, BBH, 180LA, and Pereira O’Dell.

An art director by background, Rizuto is known for his bold and culturally relevant work. His portfolio includes several award-winning campaigns such as Boost Mobile’s “Boost Your Voice,” UNICEF’s “Unfairy Tales,” Eurofarma’s “Scrolling Therapy,” and Google’s “Black Owned Friday.” He also led Ogilvy to a Gold win at the Cannes Lions for Dove’s “Get Unready” campaign.

Over the years, he has also played a key role in raising the profile of agencies he has worked with, including helping BBH New York return to Ad Age’s A-List and supporting Dentsu Creative US in earning major industry recognition.

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Green said Rizuto brings deep experience and energy, and will play an important role in shaping the future of Droga5 New York while strengthening collaboration across regions.

Rizuto said joining Droga5 is a special moment for him, as the agency has had a strong influence on his creative journey. He added that as the industry evolves, creativity combined with technology will be key, and he is excited to work with the team to build what comes next.
