- Mehta previously worked at GSK as Global Marketing Manager – Respiratory from January 2023 to September 2026, focusing on brand strategy and marketing initiatives.
- He has extensive experience in marketing roles at GSK, Bayer, and Novartis, with a focus on portfolio growth and market share in various therapeutic areas.
- Mehta's career includes positions at Bayer overseeing Xarelto and Eylea, and earlier roles at Novartis and Danone Baby Nutrition.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has appointed Devang Mehta as Category Head – Marketing for its gastrointestinal (GI) portfolio.
Prior to joining Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Mehta was associated with GSK, where he served as Global Marketing Manager – Respiratory from January 2023 to September 2026. In this role, he worked on brand strategy, healthcare professional and patient insights, and omnichannel marketing initiatives for respiratory brands.
Before that, he was Global Marketing Manager – Urology at GSK from December 2020 to December 2022, focusing on portfolio growth, market share and profitability across international markets.
Mehta spent over five years at Bayer, where he served as Marketing Manager for Xarelto from December 2018 to December 2020, overseeing the brand across cardiovascular, vascular and orthopaedic therapy areas. Earlier, he was Senior Product Manager for Eylea from December 2015 to November 2018, handling marketing strategy, business planning and product growth initiatives.
He began his tenure at Novartis India as Product Manager for Lucentis, a role he held from November 2014 to November 2015. He subsequently worked as Product Manager at Danone Baby Nutrition (Nutricia) India from October 2012 to October 2014.
