Chandan Kumar, VP-Digital Monetisation at Zee Media Corporation Limited, has decided to move on, e4m has learnt. Kumar will be departing after a stint of more than six years.
While no official statement has been issued yet, people familiar with the development say that he may be exploring opportunities outside the company.
Kumar held the role of Vice President – Digital Monetisation at Zee Media since April 2024. He is based in Noida and leads key parts of the company’s digital revenue strategy. Before taking up this position, he held several leadership roles within the digital monetisation vertical, including Dy. VP for the North and East region, AVP Digital Monetisation, and Regional Head.
Over the years, Kumar has worked across multiple digital platforms of the group, including Zee News, Zee Business, DNA, India.com, WION, BGR.in, BollywoodLife, TheHealthSite and CricketCountry. His responsibilities have included overseeing ad strategy, managing agency and client relationships, and leading sales for programmatic, direct inventory, OTT and CTV.
