GTC Network has appointed Ashish Chopra as Senior Vice President (North & East). A seasoned media and advertising professional, Chopra brings over 25 years of experience across television, digital, and print.
He joins GTC Network after a successful tenure of over 12 years at Disney Star, where he held key leadership roles and drove strategic growth across multiple portfolios. As part of the Sports Business, he led revenue generation across TV and digital platforms, building large-scale partnerships and delivering consistent business performance.
Over the course of his career, Chopra has worked with leading media organizations including SAB Group, Aaj Tak, Zee Network, Media Transasia International, Amar Ujala, The Tribune, and HT Media, handling diverse mandates across Indian and international markets.
Chopra is known for his strength in revenue strategy, market expansion, and cross-platform monetization, along with a proven ability to build high-performing teams and strong client ecosystems.
In his new role, he will lead revenue growth across North and East markets for GTC Network, with a focus on strengthening advertiser partnerships, expanding market footprint, and driving monetization across linear, digital, and emerging platforms.
