Ankuur Rajesh Kapila has taken on the role of National Sales Head at ZEE5. He shared the update about his new position through a post on LinkedIn.
Before this move, Kapila was working with JioHotstar as Vice President – Sports Gamification, where he led the popular initiative “Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan.” He was in this role for over three years.
In his LinkedIn message, Kapila expressed gratitude as he concluded his journey with JioStar. He described the experience as a meaningful and memorable chapter that began with JioCinema and evolved into something special. He added that he is moving ahead with appreciation for the past and excitement for the future, calling his new role a “homecoming.”
This marks his second tenure with the ZEE Group. Earlier, he spent more than 14 years with the company in various leadership roles. His last position during his previous stint was Head – Brand Solutions (West & South), Zee Network Integrated Platforms, a role he held from April 2022 to October 2022.
With his return, Kapila is set to lead national sales efforts for ZEE5, bringing with him extensive experience from both digital and broadcast media businesses.
