- Anand Tomar has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Theobroma, overseeing the company's technology function.
- He previously served as Chief Information Officer at Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd. from May 2025 to September 2026, focusing on technology and IT strategy.
- Tomar has also held the position of Head of Information Technology at McDonald’s from August 2021 to May 2025 and worked at Marico Limited for over six years as Technology Lead.
- In his new role, Tomar will lead Theobroma's technology strategy and digital initiatives, leveraging his extensive experience in the FMCG, food and beverage, and retail sectors.
Anand Tomar has joined Theobroma as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), taking charge of the company’s technology function.
Tomar joins Theobroma from Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd., where he served as Chief Information Officer from May 2025 to September 2026. In the role, he was responsible for driving the company’s technology and IT agenda.
Prior to Allied Blenders & Distillers, Tomar was associated with McDonald’s, where he served as Head of Information Technology from August 2021 to May 2025.
Tomar spent over six years with Marico Limited, serving as Technology Lead from February 2015 to August 2021. His experience spans technology leadership, system integration and IT management.
In his new role at Theobroma, Tomar will lead the company’s technology strategy and digital initiatives as it continues to scale its operations.
With experience across the FMCG, food and beverage and retail sectors, Tomar brings over a decade of technology leadership experience to his new role.
