Abhishek Mehrotra, who was handling the responsibility of Group Editor (Digital) at 'News24', has put an end to his innings here. He was with the platform for about 21 months. Mehrotra is currently serving his notice period.
With the end of his tenure with News24, Abhishek Mehrotra has completed 20 years in journalism this year, which includes a decade as a digital editor. Talking about his upcoming tenure, Abhishek said that he is now looking forward to creating new dimensions through websites as well as video platforms. He will also try his hand in the field of management and revenue creation.
Abhishek said, about his tenure with News24, that working with Anuradha Prasad ji as a reporting boss in this organization has been wonderful for him. He has learnt the importance of patience and calmness in life from Anuradha ji, which is an important achievement of his life.
Meanwhile, News24 MD and Editor-in-Chief Anuradha Prasad said that Abhishek is a passionate editor and his dedication towards work is commendable. Abhishek's tenure with News24 was short but his contribution was significant. It is worth mentioning that News24 group is currently operating four websites, which include Hindi and English websites of News24 domain, entertainment website 'E24' and sports website 'News24Sports'.
Abhishek Mehrotra, who started his career with print media, has made a distinct identity for himself in digital journalism. Before joining 'News24', Abhishek Mehrotra was working as a digital editor in 'Businessworld'. He has also worked as a digital editor in 'Zee Media'.
Abhishek Mehrotra started his career with 'Swarajya Times' in Agra while studying journalism. After that, he continued his journalism career with 'Amar Ujala', 'Dainik Jagran' and 'Navbharat Times'. Abhishek, who started web journalism with Navbharat Times Online, has also played a role in Jagran.com.
Earlier, for about five years, he has also served as editorial in-charge in the website Samachar4media.com associated with Media Stream. His articles are regularly published as a satirist in Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala, Outlook Hindi, Navodaya Times. He also writes on contemporary and social issues from time to time.
