Vodafone Idea Limited has appointed Abhijit Kishore as the Chief Executive Officer for three years, effective August 19, 2025.
He is currently the Chief Operating Officer.
Meanwhile, Akshaya Moondra's term as the Chief Executive Officer comes to an end on August 18, 2025.
Moondra was appointed the CEO in 2022.
Kishore has been associated with the company since March 2015 and has held multiple senior leadership roles within the organization, both at circle operations and corporate levels.
Prior to taking on the role of COO, he headed the Enterprise Business of VIL as the Chief Enterprise Business Officer.
In the past, he has served as the Circle Business Head for Gujarat and Kerala circles where he successfully launched the first 4G in India.
Kishore holds a rich experience of over 27 years in the Indian telecom industry across functions and geographies.
