Reliance’s Blue Bot innovates on Delhi bus shelters
It is the first time that the Blue Android Bot os featuring on an outdoor format. This campaign has been showcased on JCDecaux bus shelters in Delhi
In a bid to promote its 3G services, Reliance Communications recently embarked on an outdoor campaign urging smartphones users to switch to Android on Reliance 3G in order to enjoy the “fastest smartphone” experience. This branding is in line with Reliance’s mainline campaign promoting the two-year collaboration with Google to exclusively market Android devices in India.
This campaign has been showcased exclusively on JCDecaux bus shelters in Delhi, wherein locations have been used, spread across South, East and West parts of the city.
Commenting on execution of the outdoor campaign, Dipankar Chatterjee, Chief Operating Officer, Street Furniture, JCDecaux India, said, “We are proud to showcase the Reliance Blue Android Bot exclusively on our bus shelters. The locations have been strategically spread across the city to provide an effective reach to their campaign along with generating top of the mind recall with innovative displays deployed on all the sites taken by Reliance.”
Backlit 3D icons of the Blue Android Bot, Google Play, YouTube and Google+ are mounted on the shelter roof, enhancing the visual impact of the creative to grab the attention of the commuters and the vehicular traffic alike. This is a unique campaign, wherein all the locations in the media plan have been used for innovative displays.
It is the first time that the Blue Android Bot will feature on an outdoor format. The strategic selection of the sites offers the brand a perfect platform to reach out to its target groups.
