Zee Entertainment and Turner International to work independently for subscription revenues

This comes after a Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulation,issued on 10th February, 2018, prohibiting distribution houses from clubbing channels of different broadcasters into a single bouquet.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) and Turner International (Turner), after nearly two decades of successful strategic collaboration, have mutually decided to work independently for driving Subscription Revenues. This comes after a Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulation, issued on 10th February, 2018, prohibited distribution houses from clubbing channels of different broadcasters into a single bouquet.

ZEE and Turner collaborative in a joint venture, MediPro Enterprises India Pvt. Ltd in 2002 to manage distribution and trade marketing for a bouquet of channels in India.
