Zee Anmol leads rural & overall, Colors leads urban market: BARC Week 26
In the overall market, Sony Pal fell to number five as Zee TV replaced it on number two at week 26 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India ratings
Zee Anmol continued to lead the overall market by recording 719 million impressions, according to BARC India Week 26 ratings. Zee TV replaced Sony Pal on second spot by registering 582 million impressions followed by Star Bharat on the third spot with 565 million impressions.
In week 26, Colors’ Naagin 3 retained its first position with 14.5 million impressions in the top five programme list followed by Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya on the second spot with 11.8 million impressions and Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya on the third spot with 11.4 million impressions. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya bagged the fourth spot with 11.1 million impressions and Dance Deewane on Colors stood at number five with 9.7 million impressions.
Hindi GEC Urban
Colors garnered the leadership position with 388 million impressions in the urban market followed by Zee TV on the second spot with 354 million impressions and Star Plus grabbed the third spot with 351 million impressions. Star Bharat and Sab TV stood at number four and five with 279 million impressions and 278 million impressions respectively.
In week 26, Naagin 3 continued to spread its magic and bagged first position with 9.7 million impressions followed by Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya on the second spot with 7.3 million impressions and Colors’ Dance Deewane on third with 6.8 million impressions. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and Star Plus’s Kulfi Kumar Bajewala bagged fourth and fifth spots with 6.6million impressions and 5.8 million impressions respectively.
Hindi GEC Rural
Zee Anmol continued to lead the rural market with 553 million impressions followed by Sony Pal on the second slot with 370 million impressions and Star Utsav was on the third spot with 329 million impressions. Rishtey and Star Bharat stood on the fourth and fifth slots with 323 million impressions and 286 million impressions respectively.
Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya bagged the first spot with 9.1 million impressions, followed by Mahek on number two on the same channel with 6.6 million impressions. Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma stood at number three with 4.9 million impressions and Colors’ Naagin 3 was on fourth spot with 4.8 million impressions. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya stood at number five with 4.5 million impressions.
