Week 20 ratings: Major GECs lose viewership; Sony, Life OK gain

The IPL effect may be getting on to GECs now as the tournament is entering is its final stages.

As per the ratings data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 20 (May 13-19) of 2014 for the HSM market, Star Plus lost viewership and came down from the 700-mark. The channel recorded 681 million TVTs, as compared to 733 million in Week 19.

Zee TV was at No. 2 with 394 million TVTs, almost at the same level it was in Week 19 at 395 million TVTs.

Colors was placed at third with 367 million TVTs. The channel lost viewership during the week and had recorded 376 million TVTs in Week 19.

On the other hand, Life OK gained viewership and was at No. 4 with 354 million TVTs in Week 20. The channel recorded 348 million TVTs in the previous week.

Sony Entertainment Television was at No 5, garnering 313 million TVTs in Week 20, which was higher than 286 million TVTs recorded in the previous week.

Sab TV lost some viewership this week at 258 million TVTs. The channel had recorded 268 million TVTs in Week 19.
