Tehzeeb TV set to take over Urdu-genre TV industry

Newly launched TV channel Tehzeeb TV has registered rapid growth in the territory of Urdu genre satellite TV channels.
The channel is emerging as a messiah for this specific niche in India that usually goes overlooked by the big players in the industry. Tehzeeb TV has identified the demand and is offering diverse content. Ranging from lifestyle to devotional programmes, from talk shows to cultural programmes, this channel broadcasts almost all kinds of content to address the need of the Islamic niche.

The channel is observing a huge rise in its popularity and viewership in last couple of weeks. “We are receiving thousands of calls in our live call-in programs and are unable to attend many of those due to the limited time slots of the shows. Many viewers have also reported congestion in our phone lines,” the channel told exchange4media. “Last week as well, our channel was added by hundreds of more MSO’s pan-India to their networks observing the increasing demand,” the channel official added.
