Sony TV maintains leadership position in Urban market: BARC week 37 ratings

Zee Anmol continues to dominate the overall and rural market. Meanwhile, in the top five programme list, Naagin-3 leads in urban and overall market whereas Kumkum Bhagya on Zee Anmol maintains leadership slot in the rural market

Zee Anmol continues to be the leader in the overall market with 814 million impressions followed by Zee TV on second spot with 689 million impressions and Star Utsav stood on number three with 684 million impressions.

Colors’ ‘Naagin-3’ continued to lead the list of top five programmes with 14.4 million impressions, followed by Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on second spot with 14.0 million impressions and Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya on third position with 13.8 million impressions. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai bagged fourth and fifth spots with 12.4 and 10.6 million impressions respectively.

Hindi GEC Urban

Sony Entertainment Television maintained its leadership position in week 37 with 458 million impressions followed by Star Plus on second spot with 455 million impressions and Colors stood on third spot with 431 million impressions. Meanwhile, Zee TV bagged the fourth spot with 410 million impressions whereas Star Bharat climbed up to fifth spot from sixth rank of week 36 with 324 million impressions.

In the top five programmes ‘Naagin’ registered 9.6 million impressions to be in the top position. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya bagged second spot with 8 million impressions followed by Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on third spot with 7.7 million impressions. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and Colors’ Dance Deewane grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 7 million and 6.7 million impressions respectively.

Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol leads the rural market with 661 million impressions followed by Star Utsav on second spot with 483 million impressions and Sony Pal on third spot with 437 million impressions. Rishtey and Star Bharat bagged fourth and fifth spots with 375 million impressions and 321 million impressions respectively.

Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued to dominate this market with improved 11.5 million impressions followed by Mahek on the same channel with 6.5 million impressions. Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma bagged third spot with 6.3 million impressions and Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ was on fourth with 6 million impressions. Star Utsav’s Rabba Ve maintained its fifth position with 5.6 million impressions.
