Network18 Media & Investments Limited has announced its results for the quarter and financial year ended 31st March 2020.

The Consolidated Operating Revenue stands at Rs 1,464 crore for Q4 FY20, registering an increase of 19% against the same quarter last year.

The company has said: “Rise in ranking of our flagship Entertainment channel and upsurge in News consumption helped the group post growth in ad-revenues in the quarter, even as advertising was severely impacted during late-Q4 due to the COVID-19 related lockdown. Entertainment profitability continued its improved run despite ad-headwinds, led by subscription and syndication revenue streams and broad-based cost controls.”

The linear TV subscription revenue has seen a growth of 41% in Q4.

The network has said the digital revenues were impacted by the weak ad environment, though lesser than in broadcasting. Continued display advertising growth in regional despite an uncertain macro-environment underscores tailwinds in vernacular digital media.
