Chandramohan Mehra, Sr VP and Head-Marketing at Sony SAB (SPN) quits

Following his three year stint at Sony SAB, Mehra will now move to a big financial conglomerate as its CMO

Chandramohan Mehra, Sr VP and Head-Marketing at Sony SAB, family comedy channel of Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) has quit. Currently serving notice period at SPN, Mehra is slated to join as CMO at a financial conglomerate. He could not be reached out for a comment.

Industry sources have confirmed the news about his exit.

During his stint at SPN, spanning over three years, Mehra spearheaded the development of the brand, show launches, consumer engagement and digital initiatives of the channel. Several initiatives like brand campaigns include Digital Divides SAB Unites, consumer engagement initiative ‘Fun-with-Family’ and digital campaigns won numerous marketing awards and created distinctiveness for the brand.

Prior to SPN, Mehra was Country Head – Emerging Business at SBI Life, JV of BNP Paribas, a leading life insurer where he set up the online business vertical. He also led brand, marketing, cross sell vertical, PR, analytics at SBI Life. Before SBI Life, Mehra worked at Kotak Mahindra and FCB Ulka.

Mehra has an MBA from INSEAD, France and is an alumnus of BITS Pilani.
