BARC week 19: ZEEL continues to dominate across markets third week in a row

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya grabbed the leadership spot with 12333 Impressions (000s) in top five programmes in week 19

In week 19 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, Zee Anmol continued to dominate the overall market. The channel saw a rise in ratings this week and registered 857264 Impressions (000s) against 769222 Impressions (000s) in week 18. Even, Rishtey has witnessed a hike in ratings and maintained it's second spot with 658382 Impressions (000s) as against 642114 Impressions (000s) in the previous week. Sony Pal has climbed up to number three from number four with 654053 Impressions (000s).

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya grabbed leadership spot with 12333 Impressions (000s) in top five programmes in week 19. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya stood on second position with 10840 Impressions (000s) followed by Kumkum Bhagya on third rank with 9222 Impressions (000s). Zee Anmol’s Mahek bagged fourth spot with 7910 Impressions (000s) whereas Ishq Subhan Allah on Zee TV stood at number five with 7909 Impressions (000s).


Hindi GEC Urban

In urban market, Zee TV continued to garner the leadership position this week as well. The channel registered 314648 Impressions (000s) against 324219 impressions in week 18. Star Plus on second spot recorded 308029 impressions (000s) followed by Colors on third spot with 303997 Impressions (000s). Star Bharat and Sab TV garnered fourth and fifth spots with 288255 Impressions (000s) and 279628 Impressions (000s) respectively.

In top five programmes of week 19, Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya garnered first and second spots with 6534 and 5747 Impressions (000s) respectively. Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai stood at number three with 5410 Impressions and Ishq Subhan Allah on Zee TV bagged fourth spot with 5108 Impressions (000s). Colors’ Shakti was on fifth position with 4833 Impressions (000s).


Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to lead the market with an increase in ratings, it registered 664876 Impressions (000s) as against 593662 Impressions (000s) in week 18 followed by Rishtey on second slot with 478831 Impressions (000s) as against 458940 Impressions (000s) in last week. Sony Pal was on the third spot with 451893 Impressions (000s). Star Utsav and Star Bharat stood on the fourth and fifth slots with 332139 Impressions (000s) and 289332 Impressions (000s), respectively.

Kumkum Bhagya on Zee Anmol bagged the first spot among shows with 9967 Impressions (000s), followed by Mahek on the same channel grabbing second spot with 6164 Impressions and Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma stood on number three with 5406 Impressions (000s). Zee Anmol Ganga and CID on Sony Pal stood at fourth and fifth slots with 5234 Impressions and 4606 Impressions (000s) respectively.
